Title: Rough & Ruthless
Series: Notorious Devils MC #4
Author: Hayley Faiman
Genre: MC Romance
Mary-Ann Lukin has never had it easy. Having survived the torments of abuse for far too long, it's a miracle that life somehow managed to leave her with a little bit of hope—hope of a future filled with happiness.
Max "MadDog" Duhart has lived more than one lifetime, earning the respect he's due as the president of the Original Charter of Notorious Devils. Nevertheless, with life still yet to live, he wants more than the regret that's tarnished his past.
Their connection is instant, though they know they shouldn't act on it—not with more than thirty years between them. Not with their families tied together by the club's brotherhood.
Yet, there's something about the sweet, broken woman that whispers of a fresh start for an old man. And while he may be rough and ruthless, she cannot deny the way she feels when she looks into his haunted blue eyes.
What a mighty tale Ms. Hayley weaves in her next installment of the devilish Notorious Devils MC. The main character of this taboo tale we previously met in her other books. The hero Max "MadDog" Duhart is the charter president and has seen an done a lot in his lifetime that nothing surprises him more than his feelings for Mary-Anne Lukin. Mary-Anne is the sister of one of the brothers of the Notorious Devils MC and finds herself in trouble because of a man she fancied herself in love who turned into a bad guy after meeting her brother. She calls on MadDog for help and after rescuing her he realizes that the instant connection that he feels is returned by Mary-Anne. These two have a combustible connection that you literally feel pouring off the pages and leaves you wanting to devour this book in one sitting. I love the fact that with this story it goes to show you that love has no age limitations that when its right its right. This book was a dynamite read and I will gladly recommend it.
