I truly enjoyed this suspenseful romance with a tough chick in Special Agent Kate and the man who will do whatever it takes to protect her in Jesse. Kate is injured on the job and Jesse who is the leader of Hamilton Investigation and Security, Inc. (H.I.S.) which he runs with his brothers (all except one who is Kate's partner) believes that she's in danger. So what do you do when the woman you want is in danger protect her of course, but Kate who believes she can take care of herself thinks otherwise. This was one helluva thrill ride with witty banter, a great cast of characters and chemistry that sizzles off the pages. If you're looking for a romantic suspense that will curl your toes while having you hanging on to your seat then check this book out.

HIS CHOICE

Another great read from Ms. Kell that will leave you wanting more and more of those devastating Hamilton Brothers. Their dangerous, strong, sexy and ALPHA to the core because they will protect those they care about with no questions asked. This is AJ's book who from reading book 1 we know he's a FBI agent, who feels guilty for his past actions and until he redeems himself refuses to join Hamilton Investigation and Security, Inc. (H.I.S.). He starts working undercover for a crime boss and is tasked with handling a problem. That problem comes in the form of sassy and maybe a tad bit over her head reporter by the name of Megan. Megan who is digging up what she came on a man known as The Magician. Whenever these two shared a page my kindle melted and the twist and turns in this fantastic book pulls you in and holds you hostage. The ending totally unexpected. I'm definitely in this series for the long haul and I can't wait to see who's next.

“Good morning, Kate.”
“Good morning, Mr. Hamilton.” She forced a bleak, tight-lipped smile.
“So, we’re back to Mr. Hamilton.” He hadn’t missed her obvious examination and approval. She couldn’t completely hide it, even with her anger. There was definitely something between them. Something that had to be resolved. In the bedroom.
He knew she was a relationship kind of girl, so he would be upfront with her. There would be only sex, could be no relationship. His heart and soul had been ripped apart when he’d lost his wife. Tires screeched in the distance, and Jesse’s heart clenched. He grabbed Kate’s arms and pulled her to the ground just as the car neared and gunfire erupted.

Sheila has been an avid reader since she was young, believing in fantasy worlds, women sleuths and happily-ever-after. Instead of writing as a career, she followed in her father's footsteps and joined the U.S. Air Force. After 12 years, she left the military as a disabled veteran then spent 12 years in higher education executive leadership. After reading her first romantic suspense novel, Sheila finally knew what she wanted to write. She has since retired to fulfill that dream. When not writing, she reads or spends time with her family. She lives in north Mississippi with three rescue cats.
