RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW ~~ OH, MY DRAGON (I LIKE BIG DRAGONS SERIES, #3) BY LANI LYNN VALE

Title: Oh, My Dragon
Series: The I Like Big Dragon Series #3
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release: April 6, 2017
The reclusive Ian barely participates in life, only doing so when his powers demand that he use them or pay the consequences. It seems that there’s not a single person on this planet who doesn’t want something from him, but the pain and suffering of others is nearly unbearable at times, leaving him no choice but to act.
That is until Wink unwittingly walks into his life, completely unaware that she’s stepped straight into the dragon’s den.
Wink is just trying to get home after a long day of work. Her plans for the evening do not include stumbling upon a man with blood on his hands hovering over a dead woman in her hallway.
There are three things that someone in Wink’s position should’ve done in that instance.
1. Slowly back away from the hot, bearded killer and run the other way.
2. Call the cops.
3. Not come back until the scene was safe.
Instead, she stops, takes a picture—drawing the man’s attention to her—and then takes off at the speed of a fat, blind and possibly intoxicated penguin.
Ian tries to let her go, but the moment that she runs, every single one of his predatory instincts surge to the surface and the hunt is on. Ian always catches his prey, this time is no different. What is different is that, for the first time in his life, he is consumed with the need to keep his catch.
Once again Lani has another hit on her hands. If you're a fan of the series then you would be expecting the last brother to get his book but nope we get the story of Ian another Dragon Rider who has left many of us intrigued from our first meeting with him in previous books. Ian believes that people always wants something from him and when he realizes who his mate is he chooses not to bring her into his life with all the turmoil going on, unfortunately fate has her own set of plans. Wink is a woman working to make ends meet but one night she stumbles upon a scene that totally takes her on the ride of a lifetime with a man who does everything in his power to protect her. Every character in this series is captivating and I'm hoping for more (even the dragons are inspiring). Lani's take on the paranormal is so different than other authors that you just want more and more. This action packed and well written story is worth its weight in gold and I'm glad to have read it.
She sniffled, and I looked up sharply.
And to my horror, I saw the first tear slip down one cheek.
Another tear soon followed.
“You’re crying?” I asked in outrage.
I didn’t handle tears well.
There was something about them that had the power to undo me.
“You can ignore me,” she said. “It’s just hormones.”
“Hormones?” I asked.
“You know…hormones. It’s that time of the month. It just happens,” she said flippantly.
“So there’s no reason for the tears…you’re just doing it,” I observed.
She nodded.
“It happens. A lot. Sometimes I cry because I need to, like after I’ve seen a sad video on YouTube. Or sometimes I hear a song that I really like, and the beauty of it moves me to tears,” she explained.
“So you’re crying now, not because anything’s amiss, but because you’re a girl,” I said. “Do I have that correct?”
She shrugged, causing me to sigh.
“That means nothing to me. If you’re going to speak girl, you’re going to have to give me a cheat guide or something. I never had a single female in my life, besides my sister, and that was a very long time ago,” I told her.
She glared at me, the tears gone.
“You’re not very nice,” she observed.
I knew that.
I couldn’t help it, either.
“I was raised in an orphanage,” I said. “I have absolutely no tact. If you want hearts and flowers, you’re going to have trouble getting that from me.”
“Who says that I want that from you?” she challenged. “I’ve only known you for a very short period of time. Not even long enough to form a valid opinion of you or your character.”
I sighed.
“Did you look in a mirror yet?” I asked her.
She stiffened and squirmed.
“No,” she lied.
My brows rose.
“You didn’t?” I asked. “Not even a little bit?”
She was cute when she lied.
Her nose had a small upturn to it, meaning I knew exactly when she started to lie because a little crease would appear on the bridge of her nose as she concentrated on what to say.
“Fine,” she snarled. “What’d you do to me?”
I laughed.
“I have no fucking clue,” I said honestly. “Magic, I guess.”
She pursed her lips in disgust.
“Seriously?” she asked. “That’s all you’ve got? Magic?”
I shrugged.
“I don’t know what else to call it,” I told her.
“Prove it,” she challenged.

BLOG TOUR & REVIEW ~~ DRAGONS NEED LOVE TOO (I LIKE BIG DRAGONS SERIES, #2) BY LANI LYNN VALE @EJBookPromos

Title: Dragons Need Love, Too
Series: I Like Big Dragons Series #2
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Published: October 19, 2016

Nikolai Vassago has a plan.
His day starts out fairly normal. Get up, kick some ass, fondle his beard, take some names.
One second he’s participating in a normal every day mission, and the next he’s saving the one woman that fate has promised him for the rest of his life from the grips of a criminal mastermind.
Nikolai can’t say he’s altogether displeased with what he’s given, though. Not with that gorgeous brunette that would soon be warming his bed.
The same can’t be said for Brooklyn.
Living in a commune most of her life meant she wasn’t exposed to all of life’s craziness. The moment she turned eighteen, she was off and running, experiencing all of what life had to give.
That means she sometimes jumps in feet first, not thinking about consequences until the deed is already done.
Nikolai rescues her from a fate worse than hell, throwing her on the back of his dragon and flying off into the night.
He’s a go-with-the-flow kind of man. Brooklyn, however, is not.
Having been caged for the first eighteen years of her life, she wants nothing more than to be free to do what she pleases, consequences be damned.
Nikolai, however, has different ideas, and he’s not above using his masculine will to prove to her that she’s exactly where she needs to be.

Whew!!! Once again I love Lani's take on paranormal compared to what is normally taken. This is the story of Nikolai and Brooklyn who we first met in book 1. Brooklyn was raised sheltered so after finally getting free she was thrust into a deadly game by her sinister uncle that led to her being rescued by Nikolai. It just so happens to turn out that Nikolai feels an overwhelming protectiveness towards Brooklyn and knows that she must be his mate. Of course with every relationship their's will also have it shares of ups and downs but love will always prevail. This book is filled with action, drama, hilarious times and was a perfect read from beginning to end. Well played Lani with the ending, like all the other times reading her books I'm hooked and can't wait for the next book.

I don’t know why I never expected Nikolai to be able to fight.
He had the muscles.
He worked out.
He was aware.
But he never struck me as fierce.
I wasn’t thinking that anymore, though, as I watched him beat the ever loving shit out of his opponent.
He never used a single one of his powers to accomplish it, either.
He did it all with sheer strength, force of will, and knowledge.
He was divine.
All we were supposed to be doing was buying some supplies for the house.
It’d been over two months since I’d woken from my coma, six weeks since he’d told me I was his mate and even longer since the housekeeper had stocked the kitchens.
I’d never been so happy to leave the confines of a house.
I would’ve been happy with going in a plain old car; but, today, Nikolai had taken me on a motorcycle, of all things.
I’d always wanted to ride on one but had never had the courage to ask for a ride.
Today, though, I’d practically begged Nikolai for us to take it.
He’d argued that a truck would hold more groceries, but I’d been adamant.
I didn’t even know why, either.
Just the thought of being in the open air, outside the confines of the sanctuary, turned me into a giggling mass of excitement.
And I was sure that nothing would ruin this day…but I’d been wrong.
Since I was now watching my man get ganged up on by five men.
My uncle’s cronies could ruin my day, as evidenced by the stupid goon trying to slash Nikolai’s face off with a fuckin’ saber sword.
I’d at first tried to help Nikolai, but his insistence that I back up and stay the hell out of it had been loud and clear, even when he hadn’t actually said any of those words out loud.
But he’d been awesome at screaming them inside my head like I was a disobeying three-year-old, rather than a twenty-six-year-old grown ass adult who knew how to wipe her own butt.
I watched with the brick wall of a convenience store at my back.
Nikolai’s bike was on its side where he’d dumped it.
My arm was scratched, and a strange throbbing sensation was going on with my ribs.
Funny enough, I hadn’t remembered ever hitting my ribs. Nikolai had been extremely careful about laying his bike down as we slid.
He’d also made me wear protective clothing, such as a brand new pair of motorcycle boots. A leather jacket with padding in the elbows and back, as well as a pair of pants that were supposedly flame proof.
I was glad he’d forced me to wear them now; but a scant hour before, as I’d been getting dressed, I’d been reluctant.
“Duck!” Nikolai screamed.
Then, I was seeing nothing but black. Everything around me was black.
“Nikolai!” I whispered frantically. “I can’t see!”
Strong arms, the arms that I was coming to care for in the short few days that we’d officially started to ‘date,’ wrapped around me.
“Shh,” he breathed, so low that I couldn’t be sure that he said anything at all.
Grab the bike, he whispered through my brain.
I moved my arms forward and grabbed on to the bike, feeling him shift as he got on. Then he pulled me on behind him and a loud roar sounded as he turned over the engine.
“Hold on,” he rushed.
I held on.
