VIDA'S REVIEW

I totally loved this book from beginning to end, you're rooting for this couple to get back together and have the HEA that they missed out on. Four years ago Emmett asked Brooklyn to marry him and she turned him down because she was tired of small town living and wanted to get away from her craptastic upbringing. Brooklyn returns after a phone call from her brother saying that she is needed. She knew returning that there was a chance that she would run into Emmett. The moment these two locked eyes on one another again the attraction was back and hotter than ever, and I just LOVE IT when that happens. I'm a huge fan of flirty second chance romance reads, and this one had me going. I felt the vulnerability and the strength from Brooklyn when she was experiencing a lot of turmoil in her life. I felt the warmth and the love from Emmett when he was around Brooklyn. The chemistry whenever these two were together had me quickly turning the pages. You get pulled in to these characters lives and you start to feel protective over them. With a well written plot and swoon-worthy characters that makes you hope that they get their own story (hint Jenna & Quinn).  This book captivates you and makes you realize that you should relish in the good, and be the rock the other one needs when going through the bad.

VIDA'S REVIEW

What a great start to what's I believe will be a hot, steamy and combustible series. Artemis(Sugar) is a curvy woman who has a bit of low self esteem especially after a disastrous date with a guy that she is working with. It doesn't help that she keeps having these erotic dreams about a guy who worships her voluptuous body and curves. Dr. Easton is new in town and is downright yummlicious, he is also having dreams about a beautiful curvy woman (Sugar) who not his usual type but is also his mate. From their first meeting the chemistry is explosive, I'm talking melt your panties HOT. Dr. Easton knows that she's his mate but from their shared dreams he knows that she doesn't take the news well and he's afraid to lose her. Sugar's fate is taken out of her hands when she mistaken for someone else and is attacked. This read had suspense, dynamite chemistry and a great cast of character's that I'm looking forward to learning more about. I love the fact that even though Sugar doesn't believe she's beautiful enough to get a man like Dr. Easton he does what it takes to prove her wrong at every turn.
