Excerpt

“What happened?” Dropping the backpack on the bed, I rush toward him. “Do we have to—” He catches my face between his big, rough palms and slants his lips across mine in a hard, violently hungry kiss. We didn’t make love last night—I passed out early from jet lag and Peter considerately let me sleep—and I can taste the pent-up lust in this kiss, the dark fire that always burns between us. Backing me up against the bed, Peter tears off my clothes, then his own, and then, with no preliminaries, he thrusts into me, stretching me with his thickness, battering me with his hard heat. I cry out at the shock of it, but he doesn’t stop, doesn’t slow down. His eyes glitter fiercely as he stretches my arms above my head, his hands shackling my wrists, and I realize it’s something more than lust driving him today, something savage and desperate. My body’s response is swift and sudden, like oil catching fire. One minute, I’m gritting my teeth at the merciless force of his thrusts, and the next, I’m hurtling over the edge and screaming as I splinter in brutal ecstasy. There’s no relief in this orgasm, only a lessening of impossible tension, but even that doesn’t last. The second peak, as violent as the first, comes right on its heels, and I cry out at the agonizing spasms, the pleasure ripping me apart as he drives into me, over and over again, riding me through the climax and beyond. I don’t know how long Peter fucks me like that, but by the time he comes, spurting burning-hot seed inside me, my throat is raw from screaming and I’ve lost count of how many orgasms he’s wrung out from my battered body. The hard muscles of his chest gleam with sweat as he withdraws from me, and I lie there panting, too dazed and exhausted to move. He leaves, then returns a few moments later with a wet towel, which he uses to pat at the wetness between my legs. “Sara…” His voice is rough, thick with emotion as he leans over me to brush a strand of hair off my sweat-dampened forehead. “Ptichka, I—” A hard knock on the door jolts us both. “Peter.” It’s Yan, his voice as sharp as earlier this morning. “You need to hear this. Now.” Swearing under his breath, Peter jumps off the bed, finds his discarded jeans in the pile of clothes on the floor, and pulls them on without bothering with underwear. The look he gives me over his shoulder is fierce, almost angry, but he doesn’t say anything as he strides out of the room. I sit up, wincing at the soreness between my thighs, and force myself to get up and take another quick rinse before getting dressed again. I have no idea what’s going on, but I’m getting an awful premonition.

Sweet Days is a complete standalone and a part of the Four Days Series
Patrick Doyle is a rude, selfish and cynical man. However he will do anything for his friends and family. But then the unexpected happens, upsetting her life and turning all her well-laid plans upside down, leaving her alone and desperate.
Patrick isn’t the kind of guy to get caught up in others people’s problems, especially if it involves a damsel in distress, but he can’t help coming to her aid and finds himself catapulted into her life against his will—even if he would perhaps like to become part of that life—even if that means getting hurt, and hurting her too.

And then the door slams open.
And then the door slams open.
And he’s here.
He’s worried, and scared and desperate.
He’s absolutely perfect.
He looks at me and in a heartbeat all the pieces come back together and I can breathe again, as if he were the air passing through my lungs.
“I … I’m sorry,” he yells, trying to drown out the sound of the hail.
“It wasn’t your fault,” I yell back.
He takes a step forward.
“It is. I allowed all of this to happen. I established a reputation that meant that trashy girls like that would come here looking for me. I made it so that everyone believed that I am the dickhead that I really am. That you would think it too.”
“And you are,” I say, moving my wet hair from my eyes.
“I am.” He smiles bitterly. “But I don’t want to be like that any more.”
“No?” I ask with a pained voice and a bit of hope brushing up against my heart.
“No I don’t. But I’ll need your help,” he says, taking another step closer to me. “I need you to help me to be a better person.”
“M-me? Why me?”
Another step closer and his forehead is touching mine. It caresses my face and I close my eyes to let his touch imprint itself in my mind.
“Because with you, Erin, I feel I can be … different. I can be myself. I feel that I can finally be a man.”

Synopsis

I’m engaged to be married. But I have feelings for someone else… my sisters soon to be ex. I keep feeling this magnetic pull toward Guy. Maybe it’s his British accent. Or the way his hair curls at the ends that makes me want to run my hands through it. Maybe it’s the way his eyes crinkle when he smiles. Whatever it is, something is there, and I can’t shake it. He’s my brother in law. It’s so wrong on so many levels. Even if there was a possibility there, it feels wrong because he belonged to my sister first. It’s becoming hard to ignore the nervousness that swirls inside me whenever I’m around him. He says he won’t give up until I tell him I choose Trevor instead. I can’t tell him that.

Excerpt

Since my sister left Guy, I’ve barely heard from her. However, he’s thrown himself into the restaurant and even won an award for Best Steakhouse in the area. That is exceptionally rare for such a new restaurant. Lately, I’ve noticed there has been a little pep in Guy’s step.
“Hey.” Smiling, I tug on his sleeve playfully.
“Yeah?” He spins around to face me.
“It’s good to have you back.”
“What did you call it? Back to the land of the living.” He smirks, nudging my arm with his elbow.
I laugh. “Yeah.”
With the restaurant flourishing, I’m happy to be busy.
To top everything off, I’ve been feeling this magnetic pull toward Guy. I don’t know. Maybe it’s his British accent, or the way his hair curls at the ends, that makes me want to run my hands through it. Maybe it’s the way his eyes crinkle when he smiles.
Whatever it is, something is there. And I can’t shake it. He’s my brother-in-law. Or my soon to be ex-brother-in-law. It’s so wrong on so many levels. Even if there was a possibility there, he belonged to my sister first. But it’s becoming hard to ignore the nervousness that swirls in my belly and my fast beating heart whenever I’m around him.
Six months ago, my boyfriend of five years finally proposed, and I said yes. That was way before my feelings for Guy shifted. Just being in Guy’s presence is already affecting me in ways that I can’t explain.
Then again, just because I feel a pull to someone, it doesn’t mean I’m in love with him. But my fast beating heart thinks otherwise.

RELEASE BLITZ ~~ MIXED ( A RECIPE FOR LOVE SERIES, #3) BY LANE MARTIN @BTSPromosPR

Title: Mixed (A Recipe For Love Series #3)
Author: Lane Martin
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: February 5, 2018

Synopsis

Mixed is a full-length standalone novel in the Recipe for Love Series. What happens when you “mix” together sexy chef, Logan Wheeler, and bartender, Libby Barnes? I read one of those cute decorative signs at a truck stop gift shop on my way from Nashville to New York. It took everything in me not to laugh my ass off right next to the beef jerky and air fresheners. I was also tempted to buy both for two reasons. Number one, I’m pregnant, and number two, I’m pregnant. Every once in a while, in the middle of an ordinary life, Love gives you a Fairytale. What a crock. There are no such things as fairytales. Besides, what’s ordinary anyway? I’d be happy with a roof over my head, a steady paycheck, helping my sister mend her broken heart, and not screwing up as a parent. Anything after that would just be frosting. Yum, frosting. Damn cravings. OK, OK, maybe I should have re-read the first line. Every once in a while, Because my ordinary life became extraordinary, the second Logan Wheeler crashed my doctor’s appointment and held my hand when I heard my baby’s heartbeat for the first time. I wasn’t looking for a baby daddy. I guess that’s when you usually find things. Now I’m just hoping for Happily Ever After. I’m Libby Barnes, and I can tell you one thing for sure, I wasn’t looking for a man when I moved to New York. In fact, I was trying to get away from one, my “baby daddy.” God, I hated that term. I probably should have just told Edward we were over and that I was leaving. Oh yeah, I should have told him I was knocked up too. You know what they say about hindsight? Well, she’s a real bitch. My broken-hearted sister, Emily, needed me and I needed a fresh start. So I showed up unannounced on her doorstep with the universal cure-all, aka Ben and Jerry’s and my growing bundle of joy, hidden under my clothes. My only real plan was to be the good sister my twin deserved and to be a mom my kid could be proud of. I certainly didn’t need anyone to help me with either of those goals. The only thing I did need was a job. I sure as hell wasn't expecting to hear the words “you’re hired” when my sister suggested we eat out at one of the swankiest restaurants in the city. But then again, I wasn’t expecting to have to show the bartender how to make a Manhattan either. My entire body shouldn’t have tingled as I followed the gravelly voice of the man who said those two simple words and it shouldn’t have made my panties wet. I’d had to remind myself to close my mouth as he’d stood before me with a smirk, his sexy black chef's coat, and my personal kryptonite, tattoos on his arms. Logan Wheelers wasn’t part of my plan. But you know what they say about the best-laid plans. Who am I kidding? I’ve always been a fly by the seat of my pants type of girl. I’m Logan Wheeler. I had everything I needed in life. OK, maybe that’s not true. I needed a bartender for my restaurant. ASAP. I guess that’s why I wasn’t surprised when I was told I needed to get out to the bar to see what was going on. I wasn’t expecting what I found at all. She looked exactly like her twin, only better. Her rack was amazing but even better than that was the way she looked behind the bar. My bar. It was where she belonged. Behind it. On top of it. Underneath it. Hell, I didn’t care where. As long as I had her. I live my life by one motto, no regrets. I’d already had enough of those for one lifetime and the first time I saw her I knew not going for Libby would be the greatest regret of my life.

Excerpt

Libby “You’re hired,” I don’t know if it was the words or the voice that said them from behind me that got to me the most. I know he only vocalized two of them, but his timber was rich, relaxed, and manly, and fucking sexy as hell. A shiver ran down my spine before I turned to see if the face matched the voice. I wasn’t disappointed. His dark hair was short and styled like all he did was towel dry it. His ruggedly handsome square jaw was covered in scuff, along with his upper lip. I wanted to know what it would feel like on my skin. Let’s just say it was a good thing I was already pregnant because one look from this guy and I could have gotten knocked up again. I hadn’t even gotten to the best part yet. He was wearing a black short sleeve chef coat with his name embroidered over his heart. Logan. Did I mention that his arms were covered in ink? They were beautiful and intricate designs that made you want to get closer so that you could study them, run your finger along the edges. This man had many stories to tell, and I wanted to see and hear every one of them. “Oh shit,” Jackson mumbled before making himself look busy. Despite the bustling dining room, the bar wasn’t very crowded. Maybe it was because people knew they would never get a table. It could also have had to do with the barkeep. Jackson was a cutie; by he couldn’t mix a drink to save his life. I also knew Swayed was known for its wine list and staff of sommeliers. The wine cellar was probably bigger than the bar itself which was a damn shame. “Logan, they let you out of the kitchen?” My sister asked the sexy beast of a man approached us with an amused grin on his face. I guessed this was how we were getting a table; they obviously knew each other. My twin had been holding out on me. “Every once in a while, Emily,” he answered before placing a kiss on my sister's cheek. I envied that cheek. Logan turned his attention to the bartender. “Are we letting patron’s mix their own cocktails now?” “What? You implied she was hired, so technically she’s an employee.” I nearly choked on my drink when Logan turned his attention towards me. He was even better looking close up. His beautiful brown eyes shone with amusement as he tried not to laugh. He put out his hand and offered, “I’m Logan Wheeler.” What no kiss for me? “Libby Barnes.” I introduced myself as he took my hand. Interesting, he was a topper. I considered myself an expert handshake reader. His shake was about power, don’t get me wrong. It was subtle as shit, but I didn’t doubt he was in charge. It wasn’t aggressive or forceful, but with his hand facing downward and my palm upward it was clear he was thinking ten steps ahead. As I returned the shake, I rotated our wrists. You’re not the boss of me. The look he gave me in response told me everything I needed to know. Message received. Our hands remained joined for much longer than was necessary. “Sorry to break up the love fest, but can I get another “perfect” Manhattan?” The server used air quotes as she ordered the drink. Jackson looked at me with pleading eyes. I was a sucker, so I got off my chair and rounded the bar again. “Isn’t she great?” Emily asked as Logan watched me intently. “She is.” Once again that shiver ran down my spine. Christ Libby get ahold of yourself. “I thought your sister was in Nashville.” “She was,” I answered, “I mean I was.” Good job Lib, make yourself look like a complete idiot. “I’m here now.” I turned to the pass with the drink I’d just made to hide my blush.

About The Author

Writing never crossed my mind. I was a working wife and mother, but in June of 2012 that all changed when my sister bought me a little book by E.L. James for my birthday. I couldn’t get enough of the series, and that’s when I found out about Fanfiction. I decided to give it a whirl and rediscovered a part of me I had long since forgotten. With the encouragement of my Fanfiction readers and the support of my family, I decided to write something of my own. I guess you can say the rest is history. I currently live in Northern California with my husband of over twenty years and my high school age son, while my daughter attends college in Washington, DC. I love reading, spending time with my family, traveling, and trying out restaurants that are on Food Network. Thank you for joining me on this crazy ride.

NEW RELEASE ~~ OBSESSION MINE (TORMENTOR MINE, #2) BY ANNA ZAIRES @BTSPromosPR

Tite: Obsession Mine (Tormentor Mine, #2)
Author: Anna Zaires
Publication Date: November 14, 2017
Genre: Dark Romance

Synopsis
I stole her in the night. Caged her because I can’t live without her. She’s my love, my addiction, my obsession. I will do anything to keep Sara mine.

Peter's POV

“You will never do this again.” My voice is low and hard as I grip her shoulders and pull back to meet her startled gaze, the fear inside me swamped by fierce determination. “You will not run from me, Sara. Ever. There’s nobody out there who can help you, no place you can hide from me. And if you try this futile stunt again, you’ll regret it—I give you my word on that. You think you know what I’m capable of, but you haven’t even scratched the surface. You have no idea of the lengths I’ll go to, ptichka, no clue what I’m willing to do to have you. You’re mine, and you’re staying mine—now and for as long as we’re both alive.” I can feel her muscles tensing as I speak, and I know I’m scaring her. It’s not what I want, but I have to keep her from these escape attempts. I have to keep her safe. “Peter, please…” Her soft hazel eyes fill with tears as her palms come up to press against my chest. “Don’t do this. This isn’t love. Even you must realize that. I’m sorry for everything you’ve lost, for what George did to your family. And I know—” She swallows, holding my gaze. “I know there’s something between us, something that shouldn’t be there… something that doesn’t make any sense. You feel it, and I feel it too. But that doesn’t make this right. You can’t stalk someone into loving you, can’t intimidate her into caring. For as long as you’re keeping me here, I’m your captive, no matter what you make me say… no matter what you coerce me into. Whether I run or not, I’m not yours—and I never will be. Not like this.” Every word she speaks is like a knife puncturing my liver. “How then?” My words come out harsh and desperate, violent in their intensity. “Tell me, Sara. How can I have you? What other way can we be together?” Her gaze mirrors my torment. “We can’t,” she chokes out, her delicate nails scraping over my skin as her hands curl into fists against my chest. “This isn’t meant to be, Peter. We’re not meant to be. Not with the past we share—not with who and what we are.” “No.” My rejection is visceral, instinctive. “No, you’re wrong.” Realizing I’m gripping her shoulders with biting force, I release her and step back, then turn away to turn off the water, using the small task to regain some control. Now that I’m no longer freezing, my body is starting to respond to her nakedness, my hunger for her sharp and dark, aggravated by the volatile brew of anger and frustrated longing. If I don’t calm down, I will take her, and I will hurt her. I will fuck her until she breaks and admits she belongs to me. She’s crying when I turn back to face her, the tears mixing with the wetness on her cheeks. “Peter, please…” She reaches over to grip my hand, her slender fingers wrapping around my palm imploringly. “Please, just let me go. This isn’t what you want, not really. I can’t be your family. I can’t be their replacement. Can’t you see that? It’s just not meant to be. What you want is not—” “You are what I want.” Tugging my hand out of her hold, I fist it in her hair and wrap my other arm around her waist, molding her against me. She sucks in a sharp breath, her peaked nipples brushing against my chest, and my cock throbs, hard and ready against her silky stomach as I say thickly, “You, Sara, are everything I want. I don’t give a fuck about the past, or what is or isn’t meant to be. We make our own fate—we choose our own destiny—and I chose you. I don’t care if the rest of the world thinks it’s wrong, if I have to fight an army to hold on to you. I found you, I took you, and I’m keeping you—and I’m never going to set you free.”

Excerpt
© 2017 by Elena Matthews I turn and head over to Alex on the dance floor to say good-bye. When she finds my eyes wandering the space around me, she tells me that Mia went inside to grab a drink. However, when I go in search of her, I come up empty. Reluctantly, I order an Uber before heading to the bathroom since the four beers I consumed are making me feel as if I could piss a river. Thankfully, there isn’t a line when I get to the bathroom, so I open the door. As I swing the door open, I startle when I realize a chick is in here, doing her business. “Shit, I’m so sorry,” is my automatic response. After taking a quick second glance, I see that it’s Mia. So, this is where she disappeared to. Her face is one of alarm as she scrambles to cover herself, but I don’t miss the redness around her eyes and the tear streaks along her rosy cheeks. Ignoring the scowl I see aimed my way, I step inside and close the door behind me, locking it. “Jesus, Tyler,” she grumbles with annoyance as she quickly wipes herself before standing, pulling her panties up and allowing the dress to fall back into place, smoothing it down with her hands. “You ever heard of knocking?” You ever heard of locking the door? I don’t say this. I simply ignore her quip and focus on her raw red eyes that make my heart clench. “Have you been crying?” I ask attentively, taking a step toward her. She sighs irritably as she flushes the toilet and closes the seat before walking over to the sink where she begins the process of washing her hands. “No, I’m fine,” she says with a tone that sounds anything but fine. “Mia?” I step over to her until I’m standing behind her, staring at her reflection in the mirror where she purposely tries to avoid my eyes. She sniffs, sucking her bottom lip into her mouth, a sign that tells me she’s upset but trying to hold the emotion back. “I know when my wife’s been crying,” I state confidently, taking in her sad eyes. When seconds pass and only silence greets my ears, I gently whisper, “Baby, what is it?” She visibly flinches at my words, and as she turns the faucet off, she looks up to the ceiling, breathing heavily. Her eyes flutter closed, her wet hands fiercely gripping hold of the sink. “You.” There’s a hard edge to her voice, one that chips away at my heart. “Me?” “Yes, you,” she grits out, fuming. Instead of stepping away from her obvious ire, I instinctively step closer. She gives out a shuddery breath before laying into me good, glaring at me through the mirror. “I’ve waited two months for you to put your money where your mouth is, and as the days passed without a single word from you, I started to think that maybe your drunken vow to fight for me was just bullshit. When that realization sank in, I tried anything not to think of you and just focus on me. And you want to know something? It was working. I was pushing through the depression, finally feeling like me again, finally feeling like, maybe, I could get through the next days without having the constant reminder of what I’d lost. That was when I realized I didn’t need you. That my life didn’t revolve around you, that I could survive without you. I felt like I was slowly moving on with my life. “Then, tonight, you unexpectedly turned up, and everything I’d felt went straight out of the goddamn window the instant I set eyes on your stupid, beautiful, perfect face. “Two months, Tyler. Where the fuck have you been?” She’s breathing heavily, and her eyes are filled with angry tears, but she doesn’t give me a chance to explain. “I want to hate you, slap you, hit you, anything that involves hurting you, but instead, all I want to do is…” She pauses, dragging her teeth over her bottom lip, her eyes filled with obvious turmoil before she lets them fall shut. I move stealthily closer until my chest is pressed up against her back, both hands on her hips, unable to resist touching her in some way. Just feeling her between my fingertips is everything. She remains silent, her facial expression tormented. “What do you want to do?” I breathe in her ear. I don’t miss the way she shivers against me. Her eyes flutter back open, and her stare meets mine in the reflection of the mirror. As well as seeing anger, I see passion. Pure, hot, unadulterated passion. “I want to slam my lips onto yours. I want to lose myself in your touch. I want you so much.” The words come out on a husky whisper. My fingers grasp her hips, my cock turning rock fucking hard within an instant. “You can do both—hate me and kiss me,” I urge, pushing my hips into her ass. “Take your anger out on me, on my lips, on my cock…” A moan escapes her lips, and my fingers drift lower until they meet her bare thigh just below her dress. “You can be as rough as you want.” I forcibly dig my fingers against her thigh, showing exactly how rough with my touch alone. “I want your wrath, baby. Give it to me.”
