Synopsis

The main setting of the book is Florence, Italy, where Dylan is in love with the history of the city.

My heart stopped beating. “We can be friends,” he breathed, his lips intensely intimate along my neck. His lips hesitated over my throat. “Or we can be more.”

My nerves kicked into high gear. More? More what? I had to keep reminding myself of what he was. I also had to remind myself to inhale and exhale. He was playing with my emotions. One moment he was charming and the next, well, that was the question. I fought internally with how to respond. I wasn’t even sure if I could respond with his mouth so close to me.

Shannon Bell grew up in Florida and has always dreamed about vampires - and still secretly hopes they exist. She is married to someone who tolerates her crazy story-telling about Romania and has a daughter she hopes will have the same enthusiasm for vampires when she grows up that her mommy does.

Author Bio

For as long as I can remember, I've loved to write, poetry, short stories just about anything. My English teachers in school kept telling me I should write and it took me a lot of years to finally get around to it. 

I spent too long worrying about failing as a writer before I realized that living with the regret of never trying was worse.

I live in a sleepy country town in Tasmania, Australia with my partner and our three children, who aren't so little anymore, plus a whole assortment of animals. 

Natasha's Awakening is my first book but I have no intention of stopping now and will continue to live my dream of being a published author. I have just published Taming Eric which is his POV to Natasha's Awakening. 

My interests are writing of course, reading, watching movies and hanging out at home with my family, our six cats and one dog.

VIDA'S REVIEW

This book was addictive and a total page turner, it was a sexy, suspenseful, beautiful story full of great characters, with a interesting story lines. Layla (Lala) comes home after Fire and Steel M.C. let her know that her brother has been murdered. She really doesn't want to go back because all that surrounds the MC for her is death. Once returned she ordered to stay until they find out who killed her brother. Cullen (Rage) promised Lala's brother that he would look out for her which is no hardship since she is the only woman he has ever loved. There is also some hot sexual tension that will have you turning up the air conditioning. Even through the ups and downs, rises and falls, beautiful and ugly moments, their love for each other broke through, and in the end helped them to both to heal and their relationship to grow even stronger. Once you start reading you will be curious, it will intrigue you, but you will indeed feel like you are right there beside these wonderful, complex characters. I can't wait to see what's in store next for Fire and Steel MC.
