I'm so late to the Kendall Ryan bandwagon an for that I truly apologize. This is my first ever book by her and now I have a whole catalogue that I'm going to have to through. This book was blow my mind good and I devoured it in one sitting. Cannon is a medical student who's almost done with school and is about to move to start his residency somewhere else but an unfortunate incident leaves him needing a place to stay until he's done with school. Paige is his best friend sister and a girl he has always lusted after but never approached. His sister calls in a favor with Paige for him to stay in her spare bedroom and her being the ever dutiful best friend agrees. Too bad she didn't know that Cannon grew up into delicious man that gets her motor running, throw in that he says he's a God in bed and women fall in love every time he sleeps with them. That's nothing more than a recipe for a forbidden romance with undeniable chemistry that refuses to be ignored. The writing was exceptional, the emotional connection explosive, the characters were totally relatable and the chemistry was like setting fire to gasoline. I'm so grateful to have read this book an find a new author who's stories I can't wait to fall in love with.
