Brentlee was introduced in the first book Rough & Rowdy and if you haven't read it you should definitely pick it up (not necessary but you totally will want to read it). We know that Brentlee has always done what her parents has requested of her, like no longer speaking with her sister or marrying a man that she truly does not love. There's comes a breaking point when she can't take it no more especially after her husband puts his hands on their child. While seeking help from her sister's club the Notorious Devil's MC the man who has always held her heart steps forwards and vows to protect her and her child. Bates "Sniper" Lukin has always loved Brentlee but felt that him being older and leaving for the marines it was best to break it off to let Brentlee live her life not knowing the hell that she was going to endure, no doubt noticing because he has been watching her and sees the signs because its the same thing that his mother went through. This is a push and pull where neither one thinks that their good enough but can't seem to stay away from the other. Its about a love that never truly died it just need a jump start for it to restart. The chemistry and characters touch you as if you're right there as its happening. This action packed adventure of love lost and found is downright fabulous and I am glad to have taken this journey.
