Stan by C.J. Duggan
(Summer #1.5)
Publication date: October 26th 2014
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance

I had plans, big plans, but all that changed the night Bel Evans darkened my doorstep.
Stan Remington is the go-to man. What he doesn’t know about Onslow means one of two things: it doesn’t exist or it hasn’t happened yet.
And when it comes to Onslow, for Stan, being an only child means a guilt-riddled sense of duty to help out at his parents’ caravan park every summer of his life: same old town, same old story.
Until Belinda Evans.
The wild and insipid doctor’s daughter who spends summer holidays with her family at Remington’s Caravan Park, but she’s not Stan’s problem; that is, until she sabotages his planned weekend escape. Now Stan finds himself not only caretaking the caravan park on his own, but responsible for Bel as well.
Just the two of them.
Under the one roof.
For one long, long weekend.
In a world built by mundane routine and small-town boredom, this summer promises to be anything but boring.

CJ you have officially wrecked me again!

I swear I'm gonna have to move and find me an Onslow boy for myself.

Originally I always thought of Stan as a teddy bear. Sadly I couldn't envision him well until now. I am so glad to really get to know him. He is everything I could have imagined and more.

Stan really is quite the teddy bear, but he is also so much more underneath. He wants to break free. He just has to find his place to do that.

Bel and Stan have a standing war going. It just happen to be a thin line between love and hate in this case. The passion is heating up. Much like both of their body temperatures.

CJ did an amazing job as always. There always tends to be books that I know I will love, but are afraid to finally read, but this wasn't the case. I happily jumped right in and was pleasantly entranced. I couldn't have asked for a better view of 'Stan-the-man'. I loved both Stan and Bel's characters. The book is well written and for those that care it is written in first person from both Bel and Stan's POVs. I am absolutely ecstatic for more from the Boys of Summer and cannot wait to see what more CJ can bring to the readers of the world.
